For more than three decades, Stingray Records has stood as a powerful force within UK reggae music. Built on passion, authenticity and an unwavering love for the culture, Stingray has become more than a record label. It is a home for roots, lovers rock, dub and conscious reggae music that continues to inspire generations across the world.
Founded in West London in 1994 by the McLeod brothers, Stingray Records was created with a clear vision. Protect the soul of reggae music while pushing the sound forward for a new era. What started as a small independent label quickly grew into one of the most respected names in British reggae, known for its unmistakable sound, deep production quality and commitment to real music with real feeling.
Over the years, Stingray has worked alongside some of reggae’s most celebrated artists and musicians, helping shape timeless records that still resonate today. From heavyweight roots anthems to smooth lovers rock classics, every release carries the spirit of authenticity that has defined the label from day one.

Being a co-founder, producer and studio engineer at Stingray Records has always been more than just music for me. It is a lifelong passion, a responsibility and a privilege that I continue to carry with great pride.
Since the early days of Stingray Records, our vision has always been simple. Create authentic reggae music with heart, soul and meaning while building a space where artistes feel respected, supported and inspired. Over the years, that vision has grown into something far greater than we could ever have imagined.
Working behind the scenes as a producer and engineer has allowed me to help shape the sound and direction of countless recordings, collaborations and artistes throughout the reggae community. Every session, every production and every conversation has played a part in building the legacy of Stingray Records.
What makes this journey truly special is the people. The artistes, musicians, engineers, DJs, media platforms, supporters and loyal listeners who have continued to believe in what we do. Your support has helped make Stingray Records one of the most respected and enduring names within British reggae music.
